Filed Nearby is owned and operated by Record of Sale, LLC, an Oregon limited liability company. The product republishes public records so you can read them in ordinary English. It is not a city permit counter, not a permit status system, and not legal, planning, or construction advice.
City data can be late, incomplete, or geocoded to a taxlot centroid instead of a porch. Tigard's public layer is active permits only. Salem, Philadelphia, Miami-Dade, and Washington DC do not list job valuations on the layers we read (DC fees are not job value). Austin does not map every permit. Miami-Dade is the county file, not the City of Miami. Always confirm a filing on the city's own source before you make a decision.
One-time 1-mile reports cost $12 and cover the last 12 months; 1-mile watches cost $9 per month. City reports cost $19. Large cities (Los Angeles, Chicago, Austin, Fort Worth, San Diego) cover the last 7 days citywide. New York City covers one named borough for the last 7 days — not a five-borough file. Smaller cities cover the last 30 days citywide. City watches cost $19 per month (weekly digest on the 7-day SKUs). Watches renew until you cancel in Stripe. Receipts and payouts are handled by Stripe. Demo checkouts in development do not charge a card.
You may not use Filed Nearby to assemble or resell contact lists, to harass property owners, or to scrape the service. We may refuse or cancel a watch that looks like bulk harvesting.
The service is provided as-is. Coverage is public building permits in the U.S. cities listed under the homepage search box (the live adapter registry). Other cities and filing types may follow; they are not promised on any date.
One-time reports and monthly watches are billed by Stripe. Cancel a watch from the link on your Stripe receipt. For a refund or billing question, email publisher@noticenearby.com.
